The Arcadia neighborhood is bounded roughly by 44th Street to 68th Street and from Camelback Road to Thomas Road. Arcadia contains well-kept homes on large lots; these homes command relatively high property values (as the neighborhood is adjacent to the upscale suburbs of Paradise Valley, the Biltmore area, and north Phoenix). Built on former citrus groves, Arcadia is known for well-irrigated, mature landscaping. Several yards prominently feature orange, lemon and grapefruit trees as reminders of the area’s past; the area used to be occupied by citrus farmers from 1919 to the mid-1950s. In the mid-1950s, the rest of Phoenix caught up with the farms and the area sub-urbanized with characteristic ranch homes on large lots.  call 480-229-8483

Looking at homes for my daughter…I think she and her fiancee will be serious buyers in 4-6 months…where? I don’t know…I do know she lives period homes and loves the historic homes the historic areas.I believe their price range is some where around 350-450. Any thing in the historic areas in that price range might be of interest to them.
